Club de Golf et Tennis Prince de Galles is owned by Development cite Clark ltee., a Quebec corporation.
A few years ago, the Company acquired from J.Lemuel Clark the land, on which is now built the golf and tennis club, for the purpose of developing a residential community. Unfortunately many expropriations and zoning changes forced the Company to abandon its project because it was no longer suitable for that purpose.
In 1998, a change of zoning gave a brand new vocation to this 70 acre parcel of land located in a very strategic area. The Company, headed by its president Vincent Scallon, decided to explore the feasibility of building a golf course at that location. Faced with a positive conclusion, during the 1998-99 period, Vincent Scallon conceived this project proceeded to draw the plans for the golf course and tennis court, which would become what is now know as Club de Golf et Tennis Prince de Galles.
In summer 1999 Mr. Scallon began construction of the golf course and tennis courts. The work progressed until September 21 2001 when the official opening of all operations took place at the club house before over one hundred guest and presided by Mr. Clement Nault, Maire of Bromptonville
